Hi
My name is Jane and I am married with 4 children. I am in my first year at UWE here in Bristol. I am back to uni tomorrow after a 2 week break, so it is going to be a bit of a shock having to get up at some unearthly hour tomorrow morning. It would be great to hear from any other first years out there. How you guys find the study and when you are out on placement. Hope to hear something from anyone soon. I am in the process of trying to submit an assignment online but for some reason I am not able to do it. Me and computers just don't go together. Aagh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damned computers.

Which uni are you at?

I am back on placement tomorrow, on community and really looking forward to it, be a welcome break from doing my assignments.

Hi Jane,

Welcome to the site, hope you find it friendly and helpful.

I am back on placement tomorrow, so I will also be getting up at an unearthly hour too lol

I prefer placement to being at uni, as I prefer the practical rather than the theory.

I am at Surrey and will start my first placement in 2 weeks on a surgical ward. Really excited and nervous.......will be doing my first night shift so it will be make or break time! I will let you know....
