Hiya!!!

My name is Ali and i am going to be starting my training on Feb 18th and i can't wait!!!!!

Am a bit daunted by it all really, i'm a late starter! I am 34 and slightly worried that i'm going to be the eldest in my cohort! Only slightly tho! I am married and have 3 kids age 9, 8 and 4. I waited until my youngest started school before starting my dream! I done an access course last year as i didn't have the right qualifications from school.

Am looking forward to ploughing through all the threads on the forum! Would be great to find any other cccu'ians on here.

I start my training in just under 2 week and am so excited. Like you i waited and had my family, i will be 32 when i start. From what ive ssen we wont be the olduns, there are people on the couorse in there 40/50s.

It's a gr8 course, and I PROMISE you you will not be the oldest ...guaranteed.....but so what if you are?
Enjoy it, you will hit the ground running after intro week, loads to do but all SO interesting!

I am so excited! lol! I have asked my friend who is coming to the end of her first year at cccu and she has given me a list of books she has found useful so am busy buying them at the mo!

I finish work on the 26th and can't wait!
