Default Hello all. I'm new to this site

Hello everyone

Only found this site last night, so plenty of catching up to do.

I have applied for midwifery for this sept intake, and so far have 3 interviews in a few weeks. LJMU, Chester & Edgehill. I'm currently work as a HCA, and I'm doing an access course (Science).

Looking forward to sharing advice and ideas with everyone

xxx

Hiya Igglepiggle....

...and welcome aboard - it sounds as though you are going to busy with interviews! I am sure your HCA experience will be invaluable as well. Are you enjoying the access course?

Welcome, IgglePiggle.

Love the name! Hehehehe! Just need an UpsyDaisy and Makkapakka!

Good luck with your application. How is your access going so far?

lol, I picked the name as it reminds me of my son. He always does a dance when it comes on, so it makes me smile!

Yes, enjoying my access course, but finding it quite hard going. Alot of work, and not much time to get it done. But so far I'm doing pretty well, with my grades averaging between 70% - 75%. But it hasn't been easy.

How far have you got with your applications? It's very stressful, but worth it in the long run. Good luck to your guys

I've been qualified as a midwife for just over two years, and first met Josie when she came to a uni open day where I was a student volunteer and she was a wannabe

I've had interview dates from ALL i've applied to, though was unsuccessful after interview at Leeds and withdrawn from Bradford as its just too far. I'm waiting to hear from Teesside after interview and have my interview at York on 11th March.

Good luck xxx
