Default Hey fellow birth junkies!!

I'm SO excited to be here! I'm Candice! I'm a married SAHM to 4, my last being a home birth that ended up with a hospital transfer. I will share that story later. I have been a doula since 2006 and I have been a birth junkie since the birth of my first child in 1999! I am now starting a distance course in midwifery, to hope to one day become a home birth midwife. I recently caught my first baby! A real close friend of mine was having a home birth and I was there. It was truly amazing and showed me even more where my heart is at!

Anyways, I'm so happy we have forums like this and I can't wait to get to know you all!!

Hello There

Welcome to the forum! From your location (NC) I'm assuming you're from North Carolina in the US? If so, what is the situation like in that state for non nurse midwives?

Good luck and looking forward to reading your replies xx
