Default IMA Retreat - Student Midwives welcome

Hi all

I am the membership secretary of the Independent Midwives Association and I have joined so I can invite all you student midwives to the IMA Retreat:

The IMA (Independent Midwives Association) is
organising a retreat in West Sussex, near Chichester.
Retreat dates 18th-24th April 2008. We are hoping that
some of you lovely non-IM's might like to come as
well, along with any interested student midwives. It
will run along the same lines as the ARM retreat, with
the cost including bed, breakfast (help yourself) and
a cooked dinner (done on a rota basis). Lunch is left
to individuals to organise - there are shops locally.
You can view the Retreat location at:

http://poplarsfarmhouse.co.uk/

Most of the rooms have a double bed, so you'll have to
be prepared to share, although there are a few twin
bedrooms. If you are interested in coming, please
could you contact me by email and I will email you a
booking form. We plan to run some inform sessions
(supervision, crafts, obstetric emergencies, OP tricks
etc), but the intention is for a chill-out place to
chat and relax and enjoy the beautiful location. Cost
per night will be £25 (which
will include food), its self catering so we'll have to
take turns with cooking and shopping!!

Love
Eleanor May-Johnson

Default Re: IMA Retreat - Student Midwives welcome

thanks for info Eleanor May, looks very interesting. IM is something that is still a bit of an enigma to me i'm ashamed to say - where responsibility begins and ends, practising with out insurance and other stuff dont quite understand! - so i really would be interested in coming. Need to check diary and finances first though!
