Hey all,

I'm a second year midwifery student from Canada and am quite thrilled to have wandered onto this forum. While I know many aspects of midwifery differ from country to country the true spirit of midwifery is essentially the same from one place to the next.

I am three months into the clinical component of my studies and I must say that these last three months have been insanely overwhelming! Balancing life with my two children and learning to be a midwife has been quite the adventure, but entirely worth every minute of lost sleep

Anyways, I look forward to meeting all of you!

~Kandy

I have recently got back from Maine in the USA( Ihave been out 3 times already this year!!) which is not far from the canada border, and loved it over there so have been thinking of moving there after I have done my degree in midwifery here! What are job prospects like over there???
Any info is much much appreciated!
