There are quite a few I think but tbh I got a lot of my info off websites...

I don't think you'd be copying her, it's personal choice and something you'd feel confident writing about. Ask her and see what she thinks!

Another interesting topic would be PCOS - there's a thread here somewhere with lots of info so will have a look for it and let you know.

Quote "I did Cystic Fibrosis and all about the background to the illness, and how life expectency has now improved"

I really wanted to do this for my phisiology at college as I also had a personal interest in it because my cousin had had a baby with cystic fibrosis earlier in the year. My tutor told me that I couldn't because I wouldn't be able to find enough info on it?? Wish I had ignored her and done it anyway now as it sounds like there is more than enough info out there.

Anyways too the point if you are still after more ideas Princesskel I ended up doing The effects of maternal nutrition on the health of the baby in later life. (i.e poor maternal diet increases the risk of heart disease, obesity etc. for the child in later life) for my physiology and teenage pregnancy (relating it to the cycle and culture of poverty)for my sociology.

I really enjoyed both of them and found them really interesting even though my heart wasn't really in it at the begining for the maternal nutrition one as I had really wanted to do the cystic fibrosis.
