Default Hello

Hello everyone, thought I'd better introduce myself as I how been lurking for quite sometime now! I'm starting my access course in sept which I'm really looking forward to. got 3 children myself and midwifery is all I've wanted to do since my first was born 5 years ago. Loving this site, love hearing about what the course is really like even though its sounds slightly scary and hard work at times.

Thanks for your welcomes and tbh think i am well on my way to becoming addicted! It will be nice to chat to people who are interested in midwifery as husbands eyes starts to glaze over if I mention it.

Will be applying to coventry and bcu. choice is limited because of oh job and family commitments. what about you?

Hello and a warm welcome. I'm sure you will find the access course an enjoyable challange.

However, I think this quote should have read - 'love hearing about what the course is really like, even though it sounds extremely scary and very hard work every day.'

It can seriously be that tough, especially when you already have a family to care for, but despite this, it is a journey that you will enjoy and when you get to the end, will wish it could continue.

Good luck,
KS x
