Hi Everyone!
 Just joined this evening. Going well so far, although trying to find a suitable avatar was difficult. I should be starting a three year midwifery degree at Bradford Uni on 15th September 2008! I am really excited/nervous/happy/worried! I am a mother of two, mature student (37) and already work with the National Childbirth Trust as a breastfeeding counsellor. As a single mum I know this course is going to be tough going!!!!!! If anyone has any helpful advice, it would be greatly appreciated! If anyone is at Bradford or going this year, then it would be great to say HI! Bye for now R

Aww welcome hun and congratulations on your place at Uni. Being a Mum and trying to do this course will be a challenge but one I'm sure you will more than meet. When we want something bad enough we always find a way. I wish you lots of happiness and success on your course. Thanks to all the replies to my introduction! Wow! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy! Just had loads of forms to sort out with the Uni, its getting closer and I am really excited now! Thanks for your support and I am sure I will really make use of this site! My kids think its a fab website, so it must be good! They say Hi to you all as well.
