London midwives win top midwifery award for parenting course tackling social exclusionA consultant midwife at Guy's and St.Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and a local children's centre midwife have won a top award from the Royal College of Midwives (RCM) for developing postnatal care and early parenting. Midwives Nina Khazaezade and Claire Singh were awarded a prize of £500, a glass trophy and an official certificate by Ann Keen MP, parliamentary under Secretary of State for Health. More than 200 people attended the RCM's sixth annual awards at the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington, London on Jnauary 17th, 2008. More... HAVE YOUR SAY!
