Government needs jolting from maternity services slumberCommenting on the Healthcare Commission (HCC) Review of Maternity Services published today (Friday, 25 January 2008), Dame Karlene Davis, General Secretary of the Royal College of Midwives (RCM), said: "This review provides a good base to measure Trusts' delivery of maternity services, and it is encouraging that over half of the Trusts are performing well.
