Swansea midwives win top midwifery award taking pregnancy into virtual worldTwo midwives from Swansea have won one of the UK's top midwifery awards for developing a computer assisted learning programme for midwifery students. Swansea University midwifery lecturers Susanne Darra and Marian McIvor received their prize of £500 and a glass trophy at the Royal College of Midwives (RCM) sixth annual awards ceremony in London on Thursday 17 January 2008.  Re: Swansea midwives win top midwifery award taking pregnancy into virtual world Susanne interviewed me and I questioned the programme she developed! Scary but she seemed chuffed I knew about it - so anyone with a swanaea interview coming up.....
