NHS Trusts must pull fingers out on maternity services say midwivesResponding to the publication of the King's Fund report, 'Safe Births: Everybody's Business' today (Friday 29 February) Louise Silverton, Deputy General Secretary of the Royal College of Midwives, said: "This report is welcome because it places the safety of the mother and baby where it should be, and that is right at the heart of care.
