The RCM responds to new NICE guidance on diet and nutrition for babies and toddlersResponding to the release today (26 March 2008) of new NICE guidelines on diet and nutrition for pregnant women, Janet Fyle, professional policy advisor, of the Royal College of Midwives, said: "We welcome the guidelines which call for a national consistency in the support available to address disparities in nutrition of mothers and young children from low income and disadvantaged families.
