Sheffield midwives wins top award for work with homeless womenTwo Sheffield midwives have scooped one of the UK's top midwifery awards for their work with homeless women and asylum seekers to tackle health inequalities. Julie Walsh and Dorothy Smith from Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust received the accolade at the Royal College of Midwives Sixth Annual Awards on Thursday 17Janauary 2008 in London.
