Id suggest anything you are passionate about, that way its interesting rather than a slog!

I thin smoking rates and teenage pregnancy is a good one, I find all aspects if teenage pregnancy interesting, particularly around the areas of communication and how this affects care and trust.....

Well thats what i thought as the topic of teenage pregnancy has always interested me and i thought looking at smoking rates amo0ng teenagers could lead into whather they think they are supported enough during pregnancy.

Hi Lily,

I am a loooooong way off having to even start thinking about my dissertation topic, but at the moment I would be interested in breastfeeding, especially in relation to babies in SCBU, this subject is a personal one to me but I am not sure if that would be a help or hinderance

Just want to say, good luck with writing your dissertation/

Pauline

Make sure whatever you pick it is something you are very passionate about-because by the end you'll hate it!! :o)

Maybe you could pick something that isn't covered on your syllabus or something you would like to learn more about to improve your own practice? I were thinking of doing complementary therapies as we only got a brief talk about it. Just remember you're writing 10000 words (well we are, you might be different) so pick something interesting! I got advised to pick something with hardly any research on it so you don't get swamped with too much paperwork which would make it easier, but I chose FGM and I am actually drowning under a sea of paper!!!! lol!
