| I have finally handed in my assignments today, and I have to say the feeling of relief is great ![]() One thing I have learnt in doing these assignments is, to keep an accurate record of the references I have used. Then I won't have to spend hours trying to find them so add to my reference list at the end .I am going to get a note book or pad, and then when I find an article, journal or whatever write down the details there and then. If I had done that this time I would have saved myself hours trawling through endless papers, journals and websites ![]() Still, they are done and handed in at uni now, what agreat feeling that is. I intend to chill all weekend now, and not do anything midwifery related for a couple of days

| Thanks c-bean, I am glad you are able to learn from me, even if it is how not to do things ![]() You will be fine at your interview, just try to relax as much as you can (hard I know lol) take a few mins to consider what you are being asked, and above all be yourself. I will keep everything crossed for you, and good luck. Be sure to let us know how you got on. Pauline x

| I remember those feelings well lol. Just remember that the lecturers want you to do well just as much as you do, and they do their best to put you at ease. they know how nervous you will be feeling. I didn't get a place after my interviews, I got in through clearing 4 weeks before the start of the first semester. Talk about panic lol. But it was worth it ![]()

| I did my access course at Tameside college two evenings a week, it was hard going as I used to go straight from work. But I stuck with it even though I said I was quitting every week ![]() Pauline

Yes, I did have Chris Williams, and also Yvonne Jez for my access course. I always get the train to uni, it is much easier and quicker than the bus. Where are you travelling from? I get the train from here to Piccadilly, then change platforms and get one to Salford Crescent (the train for there goes from platform 14) Uni is literally 5 - 10 mins walk from Salford Crescent station, go up the steps and at the top, turn right and follow the road round, you can't miss the uni as it is the first building you come to. Hope this helps? If you need any more info just yell ![]() Pauline x

| Hi Pauline I am pleased college is finally over. Chris always worked us hard and I did enjoy it but want to move on now. I will be getting the train from guide bridge as it will be easier for me to park and then when I get to the other side I just have to find the Allerton Building. ![]() c/bean |
