This is the title of the society essay i have been give, "Discuss the concept of informed choice in relation to place of birth in contemporary UK maternity services."
I have printed a few journals off and am going to get some books out of the library but just wondered if anyone knew any good websites, books, journals etc... they thought may be useful?

Kirkham - informed choice in maternity care
probably could do with chucking a teeny tiny smidgen of Dimond in there as well - legal aspects of midwifery
could try looking at Midirs informed choice leaflets also.
that should keep you going for now as i guess you will be overloaded with info on home birth v hospital v birthing centre!

Thanks ollybolly, i have the Kirkham book, its very good, and have also got the Midirs leaflets. Think ill look for the Dimond book as well

dont know if they are the right leaflets, but if you go on MIDIRS you can download informed choice leaflets from there.
