we don't do a research proposal, just health promotion, reflection on managing the ward, portfolio and a mammoth dissertation

That sounds useful! what do you put in your portfolio then?

I'm just trying to do a research proposal now, it's due in on Tuesday and I hate it!! Bloody research, I can't wait for this module to be over!!

Any tips would be grately appreciated!!! x

Our portfolio has 4 pieces of reflection per year (16 all told) then cam forms for modules, assessments, reflection on modules completed, evidence of attendance (and of course more reflection about the day!) of study days, mandatory training undertaken and we have to have cv in there and these key skills competencies, its bizarre isn't it? that the uni's tend to differ so much, we did research in 2nd yr we had a critique a piece of research, and present our case to the class then write approx 2000 about it aswell, I enjoyed that module (not the presentation though!!) My worst has to be the ethics and law module, it really took ages to get my head round that one x

All sounds very complicated to me!
I am only 6 wks in so i hope all this kind of stuff will become clear as time goes by!!!
