Default Vitamin K - Latest Research, Is There Any???

Hiya everyone!

I am currently looking for Research dating between 2003-2008 on
Vitamin K. I feel like I have exhausted, Midirs, BMJ, RCOG etc etc, Does anyone have any other good links/sites I can obtain Juicy Info. Thanks in advance.

Have you downloaded the sm.net toolbar? If you do that you can set it to search just midwifery related sites, that might give you more information a lot easier and quicker.

Its a contentious area isn't it? I know our Trust updated the guidelines on it last year or so, they now appeared to have disproved the theory linking it to leukaemia through various trials, and a thorough review of the literature, its expensive I know that much, and I cannot for the life of me understand why it comes in 2ml ampoules when we administer 1ml, we must through so many half used away!

the MIDIRS informed choice leaflets for professionals gives loads of good refs for admin of Vit. K.
The other place to look is WHO. The blanket appraoch to administration came from their recommndation in the first place.
The full paper is on their website, but if you're having problems finding it, then let me know
