Default Appendix at back of essay?
Hi there, I am currently doing my second essay and wanted to put in an appendix (just showing gibbs reflective cycle amongst other things) and i wasnt sure whether the appendix would come before or after the references? any help would be gratfully received, many thanks

for college I used an appendix for a biology essay, I put it in the follwing order

essay
appendix
bibliography

not to sure if this is the same once at uni.... maybe some others wil reply too

Hmm, I think when I was at uni before that the appendix went last, after the references. Memory's a bit hazy though so don't quote me on that. Also you should have a contents list for the appendix.

I also do reference list and then appendices, it must be correct as Ihave never had it mentioned that it's wrong.

Maybe you should check with your personal tutor? send an email or something?
