Basically I have to write an essay based on a woman in early pregnancy from my gynae placement. I am unsure whether to do a woman who had a TOP for abnormality reasons or a woman who miscarried at 17 weeks. However, the basis of the whole essay is who the woman encounters (health professionals) and how they communicated with her and the impact these services had on the quality of her care.

will have a think, off the top of my head, i would say Kirkham has probably written stuff around this subject but apart from that, would need to go and have a look at what i have.
You would definately need to mention about woman-centred care, of which there is loads of information out there
