Default Reflective writing

OK have just read Camilan's post and I've heard others talking about reflective writing styles. I've never come across these "styles" of writing. Are these explained to you when you start training or is this some thing im supposed to know already!?!??!

Reflection is a big part of nursing and midwifery. It basically involves a situation or an action, your thoughts and feelings surrounding the action or situation and what, if anything, would you do differently if the situation happened again.x

Don't worry you will learn all about it at Uni, we are all supposed to be reflective practitioners............At my uni we used the Marks Moran and Rose reflective tool but there are many others............Google it to see what you think

dont worry, your uni will guide you through it!
However, you could always check this out in the meantime
SMNET Study Guide NEW!
there is a big section about reflective writing as well as essays, presentations, powerpoint etc etc
it's a really good basic read to get you through your first year at uni

Melanie Jaspers book, Beginning Reflective Practice is a good book to get. It goes through many reflective cycles that you can use and is really easy to understand.

It is my bible when writing reflective essays. I have to admit that I don't find writing them easy, but I have just recieved an essay back and got a good mark with it.

The book shop on here may sell a copy, but I know it isn't an exspensive book to buy.
