Here's hoping one of you will be able to offer me some help.

My very last assignment is a reflective SWOT analysis. We have been given no real insight into how to achieve this, and this is where the problem lies.

I only have 1000 words to write. I have made my first grid listing the SWOT's and now need to transfer this to a matrix - but I am struggling to find any explanations.

Has anyone done a SWOT that I could peek at?

Do you know of any good articles that discuss the pros and cons of SWOT and/or show you how to go about it?

Just another example of how different Unis work. SWOT is a business framework for examining your's or your business' Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats.

We have been asked to do it with a view to identifying our professioanl needs during our preceptorships.

Think yourself lucky Tb...lol

I hate SWOT'ing we have to do it at the end of every module.. Think i'd shoot myself if I had to do an assignment on it! lol

Hi KS i did alot of swots when i did my CIPD, maybe if you look at HR or Personnel it might help even though the subject isn't related. xx
