Wow, that was truly amazing to watch! Only ever been on the pushing end! lol! & watched Discovery home & health whilst pregnant, but they don't really show you everything in all it's glory!

Very good example to watch, but that sterile field was just hilarious! Wasn't keen on his fiddling with the perineum (it seemed like with his pushing he could almost turn the fourchette inside out and cause damage by making it need to stretch more?) but pleased with his decision not to do an Episiotomy. Especially a vertical one! Why on earth do they still do that instead of the j-shape in the states against all the evidence???

Don't really understand all the technical talk (hopefully I will at some point?!) but that was incredible! Wow! It did make my toes curl when he was poking about 'down there' but even so, wow! Again!

OMG what was he doing with that perineum- pushing it round the baby's head! i've never seen that done before.

I didn't get the perineum bit either, but I giggled when he waved the babies hand at mum.
