I am so pleased to hear you managed to get it sorted for your daughter....and yourself mrswroe.
It does make all the difference, and it is so simple to do, and yes, some babies do sleep through it too HRLVB.

Wow, I have never seen this before - made me cringe because I am tongue tied - my son is slightly tongue tied though and this was noted when he was born. Worthwhile doing this procedure though - I think I should have had it done when I was a baby!

i've found this really interesting, both my 2 were tongue tied and I had an awful time b'feeding. Not once did a midwife comment or suggest what it could be, I was in agony and reluctantly had to give up after bout a week or so at most.
My second's tongue tie was worse and he's now been referred to a hosp to get it cut (he's 4mths), it wasn't until I started researching into it that I realised why i'd such a hard time feeding them. I will most definitely be insisting that when I have my next one, that their's is cut at birth. I'll be telling them this at my booking in appointment! |
