| Hi Jayne If you are applying for the degree the bursary payment is means tested, which is what you probably found on the bursary calculator on your Unis website. Did it take account of child care costs etc? travel? J

| Not sure if it helps or not, but I am on my own, no childcare costs, no mortgage, and I got a basic bursary of £4.388 a year. On top of that you can apply for a student loan of £2.210 per year, this is paid in 3 instalments.
