Thanks so much for clearing that up!

OK - so I won't have to worry about the childcare costs which is my main concern - looks like I may be able to do this course after all!!

Don't worry about the number, I found it and have just spoken to someone and I could get approx £8k which isn't bad considering - and help with childcare. It really could be a possibility then - yippee!

Yes 'tis rubbish isn't it! I suppose if your OH wasn't in the higher earning bracket you'd get more - what a pain!
I can't afford to do it just yet - will wait 2 yrs until both kids are at school when childcare won't be such an issue, but at least it looks more feasable to do at some point now...
Good luck!

Hi
I know exactly what you mean about when the time's right! I just feel that its the right time for me to look into all of this. It feels so right in my life to be sorting my life out and doing what I want to do!! I'm going to do access course now (not sent forms in yet but have printed them off and had a good look at them!) then apply next jan to go into the Sept 2010 intake when both boys are at school and hopefully my mum will have retired and will be able to pick the boys up from school for me!
