heheh... I think it may get changed soon.... It is for bursary, fee and other financial discussion. Thanks for pointing out the confusing, non elaboratory title.

PS. Has anyone got any specs I can borrow?

Well what are you doing Vicki to get money, ummmm do share. Here in NZ we can apply for living costs which is $150 per week and that is all. Of course we have to pay this back so at the moment my student loan is $80,000. Arghhhhh.

We also get family assistance since we are on one income however if I decided to work then this is wiped, so we are stuck under a stone really, cant get ahead at all until I graduate.

Childcare fees are rising each month, its ridiculous.

Why do we do this to ourselves.

For anyone thinking of applying - Its really not that bad, there are lots of ways of getting your hands on extra cash whilst training.
1. Bursary - means tested
2. Student loan - non-means tested
3. Part-time/ flexible paid employment
4. Grants/awards from local & national charities
5. Hardship grants from the university
