Hi

I'm just wondering if anyone can help?? I will be applying for a bursary this year, will it be based on financial earnings from 2007/2008 (ie what will be last tax year) or what you think will be financial earnings for 2008/2009??

I'm only asking because last year I was working but when I start the course in Sept we will have no income except the NHS bursary so our income will be substantially lower!!

I have been working in a bank for 4 years and had quite a decent income but will be leaving at the end of August and will be paying childcare fees which we weren't before!

Am really starting to panic that they will use income for tax year ending 2007 when in reality we will have one income into the house instead of twoa nd the extra childcare costs going out!

let me know how you get on... I am thinking about ringing the bursary people to pick their brains!

Im sure its the last full tax year so it will be 2007/2008 if you are applying for a bursary for 2008.

Thats no bursary for me then!

I hope not cos if I don't get a bursary then I can't go as Hubby's salary just covers the bills we have, anything else - food, petrol, childcare - has to be covered by whatever I get!
