Was it for a healthcare degree though? You may be able to get one, some have been able to?

No, it wasn't healthcare and it was the old kind of loan, when grants still existed and we didn't have tuition fees.

Still, they seemed fairly certain at both Swansea and Cardiff that there was no loan available to us. It's different in Wales, I think perhaps it's because the welsh assembly pay all the tuition fees.

I know, back in the day, my friend did nursing (in Bristol) and she couldn't get a loan because she had a bursary, perhaps it's changed in England because of having to pay tuition fees.

Give these a try, this is where I started off, you can find your local education authority from there!

You need to arrange getting and filling in your PN1 form yourself, this iwll need to be done each year of study or they will assume you have left the course ( assumed and was late applying for this year!)
