Katie,

you should finish the degree in the same month you start.

I.e I started Feb 07 and will graduate (well complete) in Feb 2010

does that make sense?

Hia Sooz, going back to the original query, I have just had exactly the same happen to me. And me being me, didnt want to just leave it until tomorrow so I went for the nearest thing I could find, seconded midwifery. Now I know this isnt it but its three years and I know the course can easily be changed (as they do this if someone has to take their insurance choice instead of firm the institution and course can easily be changed).
Bit silly though isnt it sooz? Means more admin on their side that its wrong on the form.
Glad I got mine done, just need to send them my passport know. Know I wont get anything but hey its wont hurt to try will it???

If you have put seconded midwifery... you won't get a loan. By being seconded you'd be paid a wage so not entitled for a loan... Get it changed PRONTO

Noo is right, change this. Seconded midwifery attracts an income of £12000 per annum so you won't qualify for a student loan!

Yeh I phoned them today and they said they will look into the problem but that because I had put down a three year course even if it would have been in a completely different subject it can be easily changed however if I had put the 1 year course it would have been difficult to change it! Hmmm I am not convinced but it has been changed now anyway.
Oh and I phoned the nhs student bursery people who didnt have my registration number but said I could sent it in anyway....again I am not convinced so gonna phone tomorrow and hopefully speak to someone else to check whether I can do this!!! As John (at the bursery place) was adament that I could but I am sure it will take a lot longer that way???
