I'd send it asap and you'll get it back in time. My stuff was back within week or two! send a covering letter, saying you need it back for holidays!

I can take my passport into my local office in Leeds to have it looked at and photocopied ring them and find out if you can too, i;ve just to wait for my passport i had to apply for a new one a few weeks ago and when i rung them the other day its going to be another 1-2 weeks so i'm going to have to apply for my funding late, so therefore i won't get it at the start of term.

I have a few questions too haha, just trying to fill it in online. Firstly, where it asks how much it costs (the course) do you leave it blank as NHS pay, or do you write the full amount anyway? In my case, £3145.

Also, it asks where I will be spending most of my time in term 1, 2 and 3, should I be putting uni or placement cos I thought it was 50/50 lol arghh!

uni. placement is meant for courses with a year in industry... its uni.

I#ve just got my birth cert back from the loans people.. only sent it off a week an half ago

I sent my passport special delivery and got it back within 2 days i got the non means tested loan grand total of £22?? and a little bit can't remember exactly. Definitley not enough to live on though

yeah i was told about that much mines going towards childcare and hopefully the nhs bursary will be enough to pay the rest, hopefully my other living costs won't change that much and as i only work on a Saturday at the moment our household income won't drop that much so we will just survive.
