Hey Guys,

Im filling in my student loan application forms and have a few questions. Ca any one help me? I need to phone the loan people about a few other issus but would be great to sort a few of the other points out before i call them.


Firstly, When it asks for the full tuition fee amount that the uni charges, do i put nil as the NHS pay it or do i have to put an amount?

Secondly, the form asks for me to confirm where i will spend mst of my time during each term.... at uni, abroad or on placement. how am i supposed to know this????? The course prospetus says that during each summer, i will undertake a full time placement - would u put uni for the first two terms and placement for the third?

It then asks about placements. I am assuming that its unpaid and they dont view the NHS busary as payment for the placements. The form asks you to choose between the following options:

* Hospital, public health service lab or with a primary care trust
* a health authority. strategic health authority, local health board, special health authority.....

I assumre that our placements would fall under the first option.

Any answer to these questions would be much appreciated...

Re: placement/uni its uni. They're talking about sandwich courses where you spend the second or third year in industry... so they're asking if it is the placement or uni year... which is irrelevant to you.

oh relly? I assumed you would put the full amount (£3145 in my case) as that's how much the nhs are charged regardless!! ooooooops
