 SAAS loan
Hi, anyone else getting a student loan from SAAS for a college access type course? When I went for my interview at college they said I would be entitled to a full amount student loan which is about £450/month plus I would get a lone parent grant, but when I got my entitlement from SAAS my loan was for £760 quid for the YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is it because I'm employed just now, will it go up once I finish work? I phoned them and couldn't get much information, they said another letter was on its way but that just asked for proof of lone parent document, like tax credit letter or something. Just wondering if your circumstances change do you let them know and they adjust your loan accordingly? Surely they can't expect someone to survive on 70 quid a month! Anyone else been in this situation? Thanx
