Unhappy Passing exams

Ok ladies time to be truthful and to make me feel better.

I passed my exam today and I know they say a pass is a pass no matter what you get but come on, how many of you have just got a C and felt stink?

The way my uni marks exams is that you dont get marked on what you get right, you get marked on what you didnt put down. Even if it is one word, you dont achieve that question - I hate it

So how have all you done on your exam grade, be it first year or last year.

Do share you feelings and grades to put me in a better mood

Our exams are graded dfiiferently I don't even know what A, Bs or C,s are these days its done on a percentage, alot of the girls from uni failed the last exam cos the wording is really ambiguous and you can easily mistakenly answer it in the completley wrong manner. Also one poor lass failed the whole exam as instead of putting mcg for a drug dose she put mg-ouch that must be awful x
I know how you must be feeling though, I always feel that way when I get assignments back, some of my friends always get the highest marks, and I alas do not x

Yea it is blumming awful. A c is a pass and I guess I should be happy with that. However when you have done your best and to know you only got a C which I guess is like 65%, it breaks my heart. I dont know how I can do better.

Anyway our final exam before qualifying is "State" and it is 3 hours long and all MCQ. I did okay in my multiple choice getting 75%, so I hope I will be okay. Its just a little disheartning

wow our marks ar soooooo different if anyone is lucky enough to get 70% then thats the highest degree you can get (we call it a first-if youve averaged over 70 throughout) so you should come over here, you'd be a marvel and prob' top of the class x

Aww, I am not sure quite what to say to make you feel better, but I hated testing in nursing school. On our state board exams, the questions were set up in such a way that there were always at least two right answers, you had to figure out which one was most correct! Also, it was computerized and there was no set amount of questions (I think I did 150, some did 300, some only did 75!!). So, in school, she set up the tests to reflect that whole, "yes, both are right, but this one is more correct, so that's the one you should have chosen." It was infuriating. And I was always so good at tests but that kicked my butt! So, therefore, if we passed the test, we celebrated, even if it was by just one point! Here, in the end, if you pass, you pass. No one looks back to see by how much, so I had to change my train of thought (not like in high school where the people with the highest marks had better shots at scholarships and so on).

Thank you so much Sasha, it does help. I am getting it remarked as on one of the questions it said I did not say I wold follow up,however I did, so I got that one ticked off.

I wonder how many others they have missed, they mark so many. Anyway I have a meeting with the marker on Mon and she will explain why I got a C. Girlfriends of mine got less questions right but got a B, so confusing.

The good thing is that I got 75% in the multiple choice questions and when we sit State next year it is all MCQ, so maybe I will be right.

Thank you again
Sara
