well i dunno if you dont do bloods or Urinalysis... but i can't remember now, i thought it was just no oedema x

Ha ha thought I'd put it here so the RM's would see it. She did have oedema to start with but it subsided the day after delivery it was only her BP that remained high. It's been bugging me for weeks so thought I'd share the info.

Yeah its good, I've seen a woman like that recently who was 'all quiet' after delivery asymtomatic, and she developed eclampsia (mighty scary!) thats why i said about the bloods etc...

Had the woman taken an NSAID? - perhaps she had an Epis or tear? This article highlights the lack of knowledge and reseach surrounding postnatal hypertension, and suggests a link between NSAIDs and raised BP:
