Yep - any student that wants to see loads of ventouse deliveries, PPH's. or 6am bradycardias, I'm your woman

I'm sure everyone has a run like that from time to time

You know, I had a student working with my last summer and she was on elective placement wanting to work with an indie. Anyway, I also do bank on the local MLU and she wanted to come along with me there so 'she could see some waterbirths and nice normal hands off deliveries'. Well that was the biggest jinx ever!!! We had a run of PPH's, Fetal Bradycardia, cord prolapse and a woman who came in pushing out an undiagnosed breech! Not a normal delivery in sight!! The student didn't get to see a waterbirth and was probably put off MLU's for life!!
