Default Pelivs and fetal skull

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a pelvis and fetal skull that are really cheap?

I could really do with one so I can label them to help me learn the different bones, positions etc.

I have looked on amazon and ebay, but they are way outside my price range.

I know I am clutching at straws here, but if you don't ask

they really are SO expensive aren't they? Club together and share it around week on week? Or buy a normal doll and draw sutures in 'its ed!
there is a print out and make pelvis on t'internet that i seem to remember being given in semester 1! but not quite sure of where to find it now.
Will ask smwife to see if she remembers, failing that will do my best to trawl through and post it here if i can

I have an anatomical pelvis that is in gud nick (only 1 year old) however as you know I am in NZ. Do you want me to find out how much it would cost and how long it will take to send it to you? I can send you a pic if you want me to.

As far as the fetus goes, we got told that if you have a doll or teddy bear, buy a swimming cap and write the sutures, fontanelles on it and you can use that, bit cheaper.

Anyway love let me know.

Hi SJ,

You really are a star you know

I am watching a pelvis on ebay at the moment, the auction finishes tomorrow, so I will see how that goes first, save you a lot of hassle, but, I may come back to you on that one if that is ok?

What a good idea, I have loads of teddies (I collect them ) so I will do that.

Once again you are a lifesaver and a true star.

Thanks so much hun.

I brought a mini doll and pelvis at the Sharing the Skills Breech Study day. Cost around £30 though. I would definately recommend the Sharing the skills study day though. Best one I've been to.

Thanks for your reply, I doubt I will be able to make it to that, although I would love to go

Is this the pelvis you are thinking of or do you know of a better one that shows the bones better.
