Hi groovychick,

Glad you enjoyed your first day, it is hard at first to work out just what your are feeling isn't it? On occasion I was convinced it was a bottom only to be told it was actually a head lol, how on earth I managed to mix them two I will never know

community rocks!
it really is where you get to be 'with woman'
am just gutted we don't go out again until the third year. Hope you are still enjoying your time groovychick. Work with a couple of different mentors if poss, or at least do a couple of different clinics if your team will allow. It is SO useful to see how different people run clinics, different phrases used, different explanations and different ways of running booking appt. You will be able to borrow bits from different mentors and work out what sort of midwife you want to become. And by the end of your block, your ab palps, venepuncture, PKU taking and bp abilities will be fab!
enjoy!
x
