Are there any male midwife students on anybody's course? I was just wondering as I don't think I have seen 1 male make a post on the website.

I know it's rare... Just how rare?

I actually asked about this on my interviews...and i know that out of the 5 universitys i applied to .Not one applicant had been male!!

We have a few male members but only one has posted and 'come out' as male. Many have a really hard time in practice from fellow students and staff, youd think itd be the women or the partners but from what I have been told they have been ok.

I had a male mentor on and off and he was excellent a real hit with the women as he is just lovely
