| Thanks so much smwife for the link. I have watched some of it and will watch the rest later. I saw the beautiful home water birth. It was fantasic the little that we actually saw. The woman seemed so much in control.

| Glad you guys liked it! I thought it was well done and have finally watched to the end. It is an honest account of childbirth in modern times and I like the mix of views and opinions. And the disparity between normality in birth and the medicalisation that is all too prevalent today. Great scenes of normal birth too. Pitocin I assume is the USA equivalent to syntocinon? Off to look it up

| I jus can't believe that the statistics are sooo high in America its shocking. Its not that bad over here in England. Anyways this is a discussion people we're meant to be discussing things like elective cesarean, choices for women, changes in Midwifery/maternity care or lack of it etc. Come on people this is a discussion forum |
