Thing is we go working all these dates out then they go for scan and get told something completely different!!!! I use a wheel most of the time but my community mentor taught me to count forward 9 months and seven days (to allow for the womans period). Same as counting back three months really.

Ok the wheel is designed for a 28day cycle. Now I had a lady who was 42 weeks past her EDD and my mentor asked how long her cycle was she said 34days so my mentor said this would make her EDD later that what she was told.

Calculation for this???!!!!

We were taught at uni to add 9 months and 7 days from the first day of the last period.

I personally love the wheel lol!! Have many spares too just in case!!!
