it should only take me 15 mins for my placement which i will go by car too, which is great. would be terrible to have to go by public transport from where i live, its not regular and unreliable. last bus at 7 so that would be no good!!xx

Takes me about an hour, depends which day I'm in, Friday mornings about 40 mins, at dinner about 30 (with foot down abit) and to placement its about 15-20 mins so not too bad really

About 40 mins by car
Placement is closer at ten minutes by car, I have thought about cycling due to imminent withdrawal of parking permits, however I don't think this is an option as it is highly likely I would not make it there!

40-45mins via public transport eurgh, if i pass my test then i'll drive and it'll be about half hour, maybe longer depends on traffic. My hospitals 15mins away!

it will take me 2o mins to get son to childminder, 40 mins on the train, 30/40 min walk up hill from station to uni. or 5 mins in taxi from station...and cost a fortune

40 minutes on a good day to uni - 2+ hours on a bad! Placement is about an hour for good days and goodness knows how long on the bad! We have a lady on our course that travels from reading to bristol every day
but she's so happy to be doing the course I think she'd still be doing it with a smile on her face if she was coming from timbuk tu! ![]()

thats bonkers! congrats to her for being so dedicated and making the journey....and congrats to her car too! Dont think mine would like that very much. All her bursary must be spent on petrol surely?!

i must be really lucky. Only ten minute walk to uni and a 20min walk to the hospital. Feel sorry for the people who have to travel a long way especially if your doing shifts on placement!
