Default How long does it take you??

just wunderd how long it takes or will take some of you to get to uni. i have to get 2 trains n have a 15 min walk to get to my uni il be starting in september,so will be a bit of a pain in the winter when its cold and raining!!could drive but petrol is soo expensive and the traffic is awfull around birmingham city centre especially in the morinings so train will be the better option especially as there is only a small carpark which charges £1 a daY!!xxx

It takes me about 3/4 of an hour if I go by train as I have to get 2. I don't drive, so unless I get a lift I don't have any other option.

Placement takes an hour on 2 buses also.

I'm really lucky as it only takes me 20 minutes by bus to get to uni and about half an hour for both community and hospital placements.

It will take me 40mins if the roads are quiet to get to uni, but placements will be less, thank goodness. x

It takes me about an hour to get to uni, but only 15mins to get to placement

I'd travel further if I had to though, it's worth it

It'll probably take me an hour to get to uni, a bit less to get back because of the time of day.... If I get my first choice placement it'll take 15 minutes to get there.

I have around a 15 min drive into Uni and about 4 mins more for Hospital. I am very lucky - and probably wouldn't have completed the course if I had been sent to the other campus as this is about 1 1/2 hours by car and park and ride. The worst placement could have been a 2 hour drive, so I am grateful that I have been placed close to home.

It'll take me about half an hour to get to uni, that's by train then a walk!

For placement, its going to take me anything from between 15 mins and and an hour! Depends where I am!
