Default Good midwifery reading

If anyone gets the chance i strongly recommend they read "call the midwife".

It's about midwife Jenny Lee in the 1950's. Great read, you will feel so lucky to have the technology we have, made me cry on several occasions!!!

ooh i've read that one, my mum got it me for christmas, it is very sweet- but makes you both glad, and a little sad, that midwifery has progressed so much in the UK!

I also recommend babycatcher- americanised but goregeous, and spiritual midwifery- if only we could create obstetric units like that!!!
