Thanks for support everyone!!! So nice to know I have people here thinking of me.
Well it went like this.....yes what I thought was right, I have the option to defer and be guaranteed Worthing next year, or to go to Hastings or Eastbourne. I have asked to appeal and they have said they will put my case forward. But thinking about it, it wouldn't be too bad to defer for the year and save up like mad to help financially for when I start.
Going to speak with admissions about it.

This is certainly a stressful career to go into isnt it??? And I think the worst part is the application process and the finding out whether you have a place and where the placement is.
I know I have someone watching over me working out the path for me, everything happens for a reason I am a firm believer in this.

Well, you sound ok, which is good. And you seem to be working it over in your head, as you've had all weekend to do!

Deferral is fine if that is what you want, is Hastings or Eastbourne far too far for you to get to? it may not be long beofre someone steps off of the course and you can take their place? (it happened to me at first and I managed ten weeks, then someone did leave and I got to go to my local unit)

thankyou both of you. Just been told by the uni that I am down for Worthing as enough people have stepped down so just needs to be verified by course leader. So I am still in the running but if I get deferred I am ok with that now.
Yes they are both far too far, especially without getting a student loan I just wont be able to afford the petrol. Both would take at least an hours drive.
Will keep you informed.

Sounds promising.. re: student loan... everyone is entitled to one who is doing the degree regardless of whether you've done a degree before
