Question FGM, is it just midwifery related?
What is FGM? i have researched the internet and can only find info on female circumcision but i thought FGM was were the vagina becomes mutilated through childbirth?!!

Someone please enlighten me!!!!!

It's Female Genital Mutilation, and it is to do with circumcision done on female babies and little girls.

Am watching a programme on FGM on More 4 now - The Day I Will Never Forget - it's about FGM in Kenya. Hearybreakingly sad and quite an eye-opener to be honest.
