Episotomies and I know in some areas they are trying to get the midwives to release tongue tied babies!

Well yes!! They are part and parcel of delivery, not so much now as they used to be in the 1960's and 70's but in a case of fetal distress (babies heartrate taken as indicator for it) then they wll perform Episiotomy, its on the link on here.
