Nope, we use ordinary needles, then dispose of them and put another one on. I wouldn't know a filter needle if it jumped up and stabbed me!

They should've shown you that you need to protect your fingers, hun. I cut myself the first time too, as many of us do. I hope you find using the syringe or needle pack better and don't cut yourself anymore!
